基于透射类图像数学模型的阈值分割新方法

摘要: 透射类图像是在强光透射条件下才可见的图像,例如钞票防伪水印图案。其直方图呈单峰分布,传统图像分割方法难以得到合适的分割阈值。文中提出透射类图像背景与目标分布的概率性模型。并基于此模型推导出根据概率模型计算最佳分割阈值的公式,不同于传统方法反复计算和比较准则函数求取阈值的方式,只需要将图像数据代入文中所建立的模型,求解一元二次方程即可快速求得最佳阈值。最后经试验验证了该方法的有效性,分割效果得到较大改善,同时计算速度大大提高。

Abstract: When light penetrates through sheet, the perspective images such as images of watermark on the banknotes form. Its histogram has only a single peak. It’s very hard to get good segmentation with old methods. A probability model of distribution for perspective image’s background and objects was put forward, and a formula was deduced to compute the optimized segmentation threshold based on the probability model. The experiment results of show that this new approach can get wonderful segmentation for perspective image, and its computing speed is faster than that of other methods.
