摘要: 针对正交频分复用(OFDM)信号的高峰均功率比问题,提出了一种基于优化功率分配的OFDM峰均功率比抑制机制OPAR。在考虑功率放大器转化效率的前提下,分析了功率转化效率与峰均功率比之间的关系,推导了叠加的导频信号与数据信号功率分配的闭环表达关系式。在给定子载波数与峰均功率比概率阈值的条件下,OPAR能快速优化导频信号与数据信号的最佳功率分配。实验结果及与现有的机制比较表明,提出的OPAR机制可以获得更好的峰均功率比改善性能。

Abstract: To solve the problem of high Peak-to-Average Power Ratio (PAPR) in Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) systems, an efficient PAPR reduction scheme called OPAR was proposed based on optimized power allocation. This paper also analyzed the relationship between power efficiency of power amplifier and PAPR, and deduced the closed form formulation of power allocation between superimposing pilot signal and data signal. OPAR could allocate optimized power quickly with the given sub-carrier number and probability threshold of PAPR. Simulation results and comparison with the existing schemes demonstrate that the proposed OPAR scheme can obtain better performance in PAPR reduction.
