一种提高边缘吞吐量的动态软频率复用算法

One dynamic soft frequency reuse algorithm to improve cell-edge throughput

摘要: 对于已有固定软频率复用算法无法根据相邻小区边缘用户的分布动态地调整频率资源分配导致边缘用户吞吐量下降的问题,提出了一种动态软频率复用算法。该算法能够根据相邻小区边缘用户的分布,动态地调整频率资源的分配,从而使边缘用户较多小区的边缘用户分配更多的频率资源,边缘用户较少小区的边缘用户分配较少的频率资源。仿真结果表明,同已有的固定软频率复用算法相比,在相邻小区边缘用户分布均匀时,动态软频率复用算法能够在总吞吐量下降2%的同时将边缘吞吐量提升12.5%;在相邻小区边缘用户分布不均时,动态软频率复用算法能够在总吞吐量下降3%的同时将边缘吞吐量提升25%。因此动态软频率复用算法能够有效地解决相邻小区边缘用户分布不均时边缘用户吞吐量下降问题.

Abstract: The classical fixed soft frequency reuse algorithm could not dynamically adjust frequency allocation based on distribution of cell-edge users in the inter-cell, which led to a decrease in cell-edge throughput. In order to solve the problem, one dynamic soft frequency reuse algorithm was proposed. This algorithm could allocate frequency dynamically depending on the number of cell-edge users. So the cell with more cell-edge users could be allocated more frequency for the cell-edge users and the cell with less cell-edge users could be allocated less frequency for the cell-edge users. The simulation results show compared with the classical fixed soft frequency reuse algorithm, when cell-edge users of different cells distribute evenly, this algorithm can improve cell-edge throughput by12.5% with 2% decrease in system throughput and when cell-edge users of different cells distribute unevenly, this algorithm can improve cell-edge throughput by25% with 3% decrease in system throughput.So the dynamic soft frequency reuse algorithm can effectively solve the problem of the decrease in cell-edge throughput when cell-edge users in the inter-cell distribute unevenly.
