密集小蜂窝网络中基于负载均衡的能效方案研究

Research of Energy-Efficiency Based on Load Balancing in Dense Small Cell Networks

摘要: 摘 要:针对密集小蜂窝网络中断概率高、负载不均衡的问题,提出了一种基于负载均衡的能效方案。在保证用户中断概率、最小速率等约束条件下通过联合优化负载均衡和基站开关模式,最大化网络能效,优化问题是一个非凸的NP-hard问题,求得最优解是相当复杂的,因此把原最优问题分解成两个次优化子问题:负载均衡方案和动态小基站开关方案,首先,负载均衡方案在给定的基站开关模式下给出最优负载均衡策略,然后在满足用户最小速率约束条件下设计最优基站开关模式最大化网络的能效。仿真结果表明,当用户数为160时所提出的算法和传统的算法相比较在中断概率方面降低了8%,在网络能效方面提高了11%。因此,所提算法能够提高网络能效且保证负载均衡。

Abstract: Abstract: Aiming at the problems of high outage probability and unbalanced load in dense small cellular networks, a research of energy-efficient based on load balancing is proposed. The network energy-efficiency is maximized by jointly control load balancing and dynamic small cell on/off control strategies under maximum outage probability and minimum rate constraints. The optimization problem is NP-hard, thus it is complex to obtain the optimal solution. Therefore, we decompose the original optimization problem into two sub-optimization problems: the load balancing design and the dynamic small cell on/off control strategy. In load balancing design scheme, we optimize the load balancing of dense small cell networks with given small cell on/off control strategies. In dynamic small cells on/off control strategy scheme, we maximize the network energy-efficiency while achieving the minimum service requirement among users. Simulation results show that when the number of users is 160, compared with the traditional algorithms the proposed algorithm reduced by 8% in terms of outage probability, and improved by 11% in terms of network energy-efficiency. Therefore, the proposed algorithm can improve the network energy-efficiency and ensure the load balancing.
