In most cases, the spatio-temporal data itself not only contains time, longitude and latitude, but also contains additional attributes such as speed, acceleration and direction, which makes the analysis of such data challenging. Therefore, an interactive visual analytic system, Visual Analysis system for Spatio-Temporal Exhibition Data (VASTED) was proposed, which combines multiple interactions to analyze participants’ types and movement patterns, as well as possible abnormal events, for the whole and details. The system utilizes and further improves the 3D map and Gantt chart to effectively represent the various attributes of data. The dataset of ChinaVis2019 challenge1 was used for case study to prove the feasibility of the system. %U http://www.joca.cn/EN/10.11772/j.issn.1001-9081.2019111976
