应用层组播中间件技术研究

Abstract: Since there is still a long way to go for the practical business of IP multicast,Application Layer Multicast(ALM) has been a perfect alternative approach.The actual researches have shown the feasibility to provide the fundamental functions of ALM to multicast application as the form of middleware.The key is describing these functions and defining one practical framework for middleware.Based on the analysis on the classical ALM systems,protocols and middlewares,this paper summarized the fundamental functions of ALM,and further presented a basic architecture of ALM middleware.

摘要: 由于IP层组播离实际商用还有很长的距离,应用层组播成为组播应用理想的替代方案。〖BP)〗目前的研究成果表明,以中间件的形式为组播应用提供应用层组播的基础功能是完全可行的,关键在于明确这些基础功能并确定出一种实用的中间件框架。在分析研究典型的应用层组播系统、协议和中间件的基础上,总结出了应用层组播的基础功能,并提出了应用层组播中间件的一种基本架构。
