Abstract: The feasibility of fractal approach used in Case Base Maintenance (CBM) was elaborated, and then a model of case base maintenance based on fractal was proposed. The maintenance model utilized box dimension algorithm to maintain the case base. Experimental results show that this model can obviously reduce the size of case base, strengthen the uniformity of case base, and thus improve the speed of the case base retrieval process.

摘要： 阐述了分形技术运用于案例库维护的可行性,并提出了一种基于分形技术的案例库维护模型,该模型利用分形技术中的盒维算法对案例库进行维护。实验表明该模型能够较为明显地降低案例库的规模,增强案例库数据全局分布的均匀性,进而提高案例库的检索效率。
