空间方向关系形式化描述研究进展

Research survey on formal description for direction relations

摘要: 空间方向关系的表示与建模作为空间方向关系领域的一个基础性问题,近年来逐渐成为地理信息系统、空间数据库和人工智能等领域研究的热点和难点并取得了一系列研究成果。从二维空间精确对象方向关系模型、三维空间对象方向关系模型、模糊空间方向关系模型等几个方面全面地综述了空间方向关系形式化描述的研究进展, 并对各种模型进行了对比与分析,指出了它们的优势与不足。最后明确指出三维空间方向关系和模糊空间方向关系建模是未来工作的重点,特别是三维模糊对象方向关系的研究是未来空间方向关系研究的重中之重,并指出进一步研究中几个迫切需要解决的关键问题。

Abstract: As a fundamental problem in the research field of spatial direction relation, representation and modeling for direction relations has been a hot and difficult issue in the areas of geographic information system, spatial database and artificial intelligence in recent years and a series of research achievements have been obtained. This paper comprehensively surveyed the researches on the formal description models for direction relations between precise objects in 2D space, direction relations between precise objects in 3D space and direction relations between fuzzy objects, analyzed and compared various kinds of models and pointed out the advantages and disadvantages of each model. Finally, it clearly pointed out that modeling for 3D direction relations and fuzzy direction relations was a major concern and especially modeling for fuzzy direction relations in 3D space was a priority in the future research. Besides, several key urgent problems were suggested, which provided reference to further research.
