Time synchronization protocol for wireless sensor networks

Abstract:A time synchronization protocol based on hierarchical structure was designed. In this protocol, at first a hierarchical structure tree was established with sink node as root node, then a pair wise synchronization was performed along the tree to establish a global timescale throughout the sensor network. The simulation results show that the time synchronization protocol can be used for wireless sensor network applications.
