摘要: 由于不同的人在身体结构和运动行为方面存在广泛的不同性,步态为人的身份识别提供了独特的线索。对于近年来日益受到普遍重视的基于步态生物特征的人身份识别专题进行了较为详尽的综述,分析了目前所取得的主要成果及其特点,并指出了存在的难题和未来的发展趋势。

关键词: 生物测量, 步态识别, 特征空间, 时空模式

Abstract: A powerful clue to human identification was furnished by gait due to the comprehensive dissimilarities in body structure and walk behavior.Automatic recognition by gait was subject to increasing interest and had the unique capability to recognize human individual at a distance when other biometrics were obscured.A comprehensive survey of recent developments of gait-based human identity recognition were provided.The main methods in each aspect of gait-based recognition were described.Some detailed discussions on research challenges and future directions in gait analysis were put forward.
